What's the highest # of tabs you've opened while troubleshooting something? (linux or not linux related)
Linux undoubtedly requires lots of troubleshooting and searching. Lately Iāve been spending hours (and still arenāt done with) setting up a Windows VM with good graphics support on NixOS. Iāve opened >300 tabs as counted with a browser addon, having looked up stuff like ābest way to install Windows VM on linux with , ābest VM software for linuxā, and more specific things like how to setup WinApps, but Iāve been told that it has very poor graphics performance, since it doesnāt include anything to make it better, so now Iām torturing myself trying to get Looking Glass to work. I opened an feature request today to make better support for NixOS but it was closed stating that documentation is for deb-based distros and āa niche distro such as NixOSā, RIP.

Who said things need to be tidy? š
I mean the background activity and memory usage is a valid concern. I believe thereās some limit to the number of background tabs which get loaded and are allowed to do things, and Iāve lowered that number. But other than that Iām fine without putting in any effort towards organizing my tabs. Iāll just open 600 of them and use Ctrl-Shift-A on Chromium or ā%ā in the location bar of Firefox to search for the tab I need, and it takes me there instantly. I mean I get why people use the title text in the tab panel at the top and the mouse to navigate. But itās not really necessary to do it that way.
