How to get the DND switch back? (since the "Modes" update)

I have used the DND switch very often. Since the last Android 15 update on my Google Pixel, the button is replaced with "Modes". Now I need three clicks instead one. Three to enable, three to disable DND.

I don't care about the other modes.

Is there any way except downgrading to get the DND switch back?

I found the "Simple DND" app, but it doesn't seem to work.

Whatever went wrong in the first place, I reinstalled Simple DND and it did exactly what I wanted.

I'm also interested in getting back the single tap to enable and disable DND.

It would be nice that if you only have one "Mode" that it let's you single tap and only open as a list if you have multiple modes.

I miss the DND button too. Haven't found a working alternative yet. It's a shame they complicated such a simple feature.

There's still DND available, not as mode but simple as option

Holy shit, why are they continuously fucking this up? It's called a "quick toggle" for a reason. It's supposed to be quick. First they came for my wifi and data toggles and now this? God damnit dude, who is in charge of these decisions?

You could use Sound Toggle.

It's not *just* the DND toggle, but a sound mode toggle, open-source app.
