Android 16 is probably releasing later today (10/06/25)

Seems likely that Android 16 will be released later today when the Americans wake up.

Reminder: this won't be 16 QPR1, which is still in beta and likely not launching until September. That's the release with the new quick settings and expressive design.

That was a rumour. Whereas this is a post from an official Android social media account heavily hinting at release today. There's a distinct difference.
