Spot the mistake I made locking 8 different bike locks

This is an ad for ABUS, These are infomercial level screw up to demonstrate how not to lock your bike.

1. POS cable lock.
2. POS cable lock.
3. POS chain lock.
4. POS chain lock.
5. POS chain lock.
6. POS lock with joints susceptible to failure.
7. D-Lock, probably an okay choice.
8. D-Lock, beefier version, better choice.

TLDR: Lock your bike frame to a solid object with a decent D-lock or hardened steel chain.

My favourite setup is a wheel lock and a 1m~ chain, makes it really easy to park in weird locations and very full racks, very usefull for university indeed.
