Finally finished this Nautilus Shawl!

A handknit shawl in colors of the woodland: greens and browns with flashes of lighter variations of those two. It is in the shape of a spiral, like a nautilus shell.

Finally finished this Nautilus Shawl! It's been almost finished for a while, but with the birthday recipient coming over yesterday, I got it finished and washed. Didn't have time to do a good picture, but here it is, spread out on my bed. The colorway is Pictured Rocks, by Megan Nico on Etsy.

@chaussetterie @knitting I don't have a CSM, but I do have a circular knitting machine, and the only way I know of doing ribbing with it is the hair-raising process of dropping stitches and re-doing them in the other direction with a crochet hook.
