Did anyone else have tab groups become disabled by default in the last few days? I'm on the beta version, and existing tab groups remain but I can't make new ones in 138.0b8 and 138.0b9.

It's enabled in Nightly and Beta, but given how long it's been on Nightly and how well it works, I'm wondering why it isn't available for everyone? Particularly when I was just on the phone to a family member and they said they don't use it on their tablet because they don't like the UI.

Edit: I found it it occurred somehow when remapping modifiers with my keyd configuration. I remapped it to CTRL ALT ] and it works now.

I am a longterm :firefox_nightly: #FirefoxNightly user [i like getting bugfixes & new features early]. Consequently it was many months ago that i first got the early signs of the new #Profile Management paradigm. It's now more sophisticated & robust than before. However, it continues to frustrate me that Firefox Devs remain silent on any guidance for HOW we users can migrate all our old profiles [created via the legacy about:profiles tool] into the new paradigm. Having switched to Zen Browser, something I miss with Firefox was its stability. I find myself looking up Zen browser bugs and workarounds too much. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I'm downgrading Zen versions due to a bug in the stable version, I never had to do so during my years on Firefox. Devs on Github making an app on their free time have can't spend as long on QA as a multi-mullion dollar organization.

So, we're not leaving Firefox after all?

Alright, trying to leave both Chrome and Firefox at the same time is difficult, especially because I always use multiple browsers at the same time (to separate accounts for this or that without having to switch accounts constantly). My current browser number three is Opera and so far, I'm not touching it (we'll see in the future).

If you don't like Firefox or Mozilla, stop using it. If you feel that strongly about it, create a Fuck Mozilla community and post there to your heart's content. You're doing nothing in this community with your incessant posting about how Firefox and Mozilla are bad except making yourself feel good and destroying people's curated subscription feeds.

So, I'm staying with #Firefox, even though their CEO is tone-deaf and clumsy and destroying #Mozilla's reputation because today I had to remove 6 extensions in #Vivaldi (my sometimes alternate browser), several of which were security-related, because of Google's changes. I miss them. I want them back.

Yubikeys don't work out of the box for the LibreWolf Flatpak because they sandboxed it so hard.

Mozilla seemingly changes Firefox Terms of Use in order to get rid of wordings such as "we don't sell your data".

Without disabling fingerprinting, zoom options aren't saved, dark mode doesn't really work and Netflix is blocked. But is it even worth running Librewolf if you enable fingerprinting? Isn't that one of the main reasons why one runs Librewolf?

Mozilla CEO made around 7 million USD last year, but hosting bills are pending. Now, they updated the ToS, and you can't watch p0rn, or your data will be sold, or they no longer care about the orignal mission, etc. Once again, we see C-suits lose their grip on reality. As long as they are getting paid in millions, software projects can go to /dev/null. It is like they want to ruin the project on purpose. There is no other explanation I can think of. Can you?

Reckon after the last couple of years of shenanigans, the ToU update for #Mozilla's #Firefox will be the last nail in their coffin.

Are we selling your data? Who can say, really? What does "selling" even mean? We'll just need you to agree to new some terms of use to be sure we can get away with whatever it is we'll be doing. Don't worry about it!
